Seasons-Justin Bieber

Notes about the documentary-27th janaury 2020-Michael D ratner -was very long which shows he wanted to show a lot-hes made documentaries before Hailey'he saterted out as a boy but everyone had to watch him go through every pahse since he was 15 -not many people have hd to experience his amount of fame in a time of social media -he wants to help people talk about their problems thats why he writes songs -he feels best when hes doing what he loves-in the studio or on stage -feels like he has to watch how hes touching his face as he doesnt want people to think hes having problems-shows he cant just do what he wants anymore -never had stability when growing up but now has his wife -he became dependent on weed and other drugs to cope with his anxiety -he was diagnosed with lyme disease which has caused a lot of his mental health problems -he never felt ready to handle all of the fame -he just wants to be emotional but feels like he cant let it out becaue it will look like he is having a break down -says that growing up in the spotlight wasnt easy -fame is 'a gift but a curse' -one of the most important things to him is spending time with those around him
Who made it
Michael D Ratner
Purpose and involvement
Then, of course, everything abruptly ground to a halt. “We left things off just before life as we knew it changed for everybody in March,” says Michael D. Ratner, the director of the documentary. “The universe forced everybody to slow down, so very quickly Justin and I talked about the fact that it was a really unique moment in time, and that capturing what he's up to during this impromptu change firsthand could be really compelling.” -he was quite involved in the making-it explores fame as a child but also may have been to promote his career because of his new album but also he was already famous so its not as if he really needed spotlight but it explains things that hes previously done and justifies his actions.
Critical reviews
The series is for fans of Bieber's serving as an update on his progress as an artist and human. Ultimately, Beliebers will find a lot to enjoy here
Conclusion and link to my EPQ
Overall I think this documentary was to tell fans about his life as it talks about his mental health and whilst it doesn't portray him in a perfect light it does justify his negative actions .It links to my EPQ as it shows the reasons why musics docuementaries are useful into looking into celebrities expereinces
