  Methods For the purpose of my research into music documentaries I will be focusing mainly on the impact of fame on the artists and how it has changed them to look for common themes, experiences and differences.  I will not be focusing on the cinematography although it is important in constructing narrative and representing the artist. However, I will focus on typical conventions such as the use of flashbacks, archive footage and who is telling the story. i will be doing primary research whilst using secondary case studies.I will use the documentaries of celebrities and use articles and critics to research what other people thought about them compared to my opinions and interpretations. Some limitations of this may be that decreased engagement in the documentaries may impact my viewpoint about one or I may have a personal bias to an artist.

Steps I will take -Avoiding emotive language -backing findings with other viewpoints explore different opinions from reliable sources Things which may effect my views -Obviously if I already dislike/like a celebrity itll be hard for my perception of them to be changed -depending on what ive previously heard about them may also sway my opinion

Aim- To understand psychology of why people become fans and celebrities Skills needed-resarch psychology,communicate with fans,watching documentaries current knowledge-low self esteem can mean they are an escape from reality development- final thoughts- Aim-To evauate he positive and negative impacts of fame Skills needed-resarch of positives vs negatives,research of personal experiences development- final thoughts- Aim-to develop my academic writing skills Skills-commintment,concentration development- final thoughts- Aim -To develop my research skills through primary and secondary research Skills-questionnaires development final thoughts I already know that some documentaries are probably made to increase the popularity for the person, but ive never properly studies documentaries or anything to do with fame.
